Principal’s Message

Pender Harbour Elementary – Secondary School is the hub of an amazing learning community. Our student body is small at 75 students but the learning opportunities offered to them are quite large. At PHSS, we run a Flex Learning Model which creates a flexible, interdisciplinary learning environment that makes learning visible. 

The proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” is especially true at PHSS as we have extremely supportive staff and community partners that enrich the student experience through hands on, placed based inquiry opportunities.

Our Staff, students, and parents co created the Values which frame our Learning Environment and Expectations. The Values that guide are practice are
